Maduka Metals, a leading manufacturer and supplier located in Abuja, Nigeria, specializes in high-quality Stainless Steel 321H Flat Bars. These bars are designed to offer exceptional corrosion resistance, impressive strength at high temperatures, and long-lasting durability. Crafted to meet international standards, they ensure reliable performance across various demanding sectors, including industrial, chemical, petrochemical, and power generation. Maduka Metals caters to a wide range of industries such as aerospace, marine, manufacturing, and energy, delivering cutting-edge stainless steel solutions. With a focus on precision manufacturing and rigorous quality control, each Stainless Steel 321H Flat Bar boasts outstanding mechanical properties, stability under high temperatures, and resistance to oxidation and stress corrosion, making them perfect for high-performance structural applications.
The Stainless Steel 321H Flat Bars are made from austenitic stainless steel, which contains about 17–19% chromium, 9–12% nickel, 0.08–0.10% carbon, along with trace amounts of titanium, manganese, and silicon. The addition of titanium helps stabilize the steel against carbide precipitation during high-temperature use. In terms of mechanical properties, 321H stainless steel flat bars show tensile strengths ranging from 550–750 MPa, yield strengths between 250–450 MPa, and a hardness of around 180–200 HB. This combination provides excellent high-temperature strength, remarkable corrosion resistance, and good ductility, making them ideal for use in extreme industrial and chemical settings.

The primary alloying element in Stainless Steel 321H is titanium (Ti), which stabilizes the steel and prevents carbide precipitation during welding. It also contains chromium (Cr) for corrosion resistance and higher carbon content for increased strength at elevated temperatures.
Stainless Steel 321H is most suitable for high-temperature applications in the range of 427°C to 816°C (800°F to 1500°F). It offers excellent oxidation resistance and stability in these temperatures, making it ideal for heat exchangers and furnace components.
Typical dimensions of a Stainless Steel 321H flat bar range from 3mm to 150mm thickness, 25mm to 600mm width, and up to 6 meters in length. These dimensions vary based on manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
These Stainless Steel 321H Flat Bars find extensive applications in industries that demand high-temperature corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. In the chemical and petrochemical fields, they are commonly used in heat exchangers, furnace components, piping systems, and reactors that handle aggressive substances. In power generation, they are essential for boilers, turbines, and exhaust systems that operate at elevated temperatures. The aerospace and marine sectors also rely on 321H flat bars for structural components and high-temperature equipment.
