Marcus Metals is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality metal products located in Abuja, Nigeria. With its many years of experience in the sector, the company can be regarded as a prime manufacturer of different types of metal alloys, such as Alloy 20 forgings. This is an alloy that has extraordinary resistance to corrosion in aggressive environments, making it a great fit for any applications – chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, etc. Marcus Metals guarantees the precision and durability of their Alloy 20 forgings to satisfy clients’ requirements for reliable, high-performance materials. Quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery have given them a strong reputation in the market.
Alloy 20 forgings shall contain approximately 20% nickel, 35% iron, 3% chromium, 2% molybdenum, 1-4% copper, manganese (1-2%), silicon (0.5%), carbon ( 0.05%). These properties provide excellent corrosion resistance, especially in acidic environments. Mechanical properties of alloy 20 include 75-100 ksi (515-690 MPa) tensile strength, 30-50 ksi (210-345 MPa) yield strength, and 30-40% elongation The alloy hardness ranges from 200 to 250 HB for strength , ductility, corrosion resistance and proper balance is achieved, . so that chemicals, pharmaceuticals, are ideal for complex applications in the food industry
