Stainless Steel 431 Hollow Bar is a martensitic stainless steel alloy that includes chromium (15–17%), nickel (1.25–2.5%), and carbon (up to 0.20%). This alloy boasts high tensile strength, impressive hardness, and moderate resistance to corrosion. After heat treatment, it can achieve tensile strengths ranging from 850 to 1000 MPa and hardness levels up to 300 HB. It also shows excellent toughness, good impact resistance, and magnetic properties.
